On Thursday, the Voting Rights Amendment, a ballot initiative restoring voting rights to non-violent individuals with felony convictions cleared a major hurdle when the state Supreme Court unanimously determined that the measure is constitutional and can be placed on the 2018 ballot, if organizers can collect enough signatures.
