Some of our activist friends from the Pacific Northwest came up with a fabulous action idea and we've been hungry to put it to good use on a national scale.
We have great visuals for TPPizza boxes and a fantastic “gourmet” Trans-Pacific Partnership Menu” for use at TPPizza parties and Congressional office deliveries, especially for those members of Congress who still haven't decided which side of the fence they're sitting on regarding the #NoLameDuck TPP vote!
We also want to recommend a great short YouTube Video that you can show at your Pizza parties to get your friends in the flow and ready to deliver a TPPizza Congressperson or staffer.
The Trans-Pacific Partnership menu is a hilarious way to make our reps understand the ridiculousness of trying to pass something so atrocious in the Lame Duck Session. It looks great stapled to the front of the pizza box, and also you may wish to staple the menu into a letter-drop and bring it.directly to your rep's office.
And don't forget the pizza!
Be sure to dress up your pizza box with great visuals for the inside and outside of the boxes. Great pizza box information that’s provides short and sweet educational material.
Make an appointment with your Congressperson now, but have a TPPizza house party first! There you can plan what you will do at the pizza delivery, and build neighborhood solidarity and resistance. If you are unable to schedule an appointment with your Congressperson you can meet with the office staffer.
